Challenge

Launch a new brand and Shopify site for celebrity eyebrow artist, Kristie Streicher.

Approach + Solution

The intersection of beauty and luxury is never more apparent than in Los Angeles, where designer brands and celebrity sightings are a normal every day occurence. So when we teamed up with Kristie Streicher, to build her new brand, our strategy was to encapuslate those themes with a unique edge and approachability inherently found in Kristie's personality.

Our objective was to create a complete brand ecosystem including strategy & positioning, naming, product hierarchy, brand identity, product packaging, and an ecommerce site for Kristie's own line of browcare and beauty products. We love projects where we get to define and direct every aspect and touchpoint of a brand's universe, helping to shape and steward the success.

We tapped into the existing equity Kristie already had in her name. Building upon her past success and positioning her as the pinnacle northstar in her field, we aptly named the new compy KS&CO.

With a clientele list dotted with high-end names, the essence of the brand needed to communicate quality, sophistication, and the transformative power of expert eyebrow artistry — all with a modern edge. Our goal was clear: to design a visual identity and digital experience that reflected the bespoke, luxurious service offered by KS&CO, positioning them as the quintessential resource of beauty innovation in the eyes of the elite.

The journey began with an in-depth exploration of the beauty consultant's practice, understanding the nuances of her artistry and the expectations of her clientele. This insight provided a foundation for the brand's visual narrative, which we crafted to echo the precision, care, and elegance inherent in KS&CO's work. The logo and monogram we designed was a testament to this, combining classic typography with a minimalist aesthetic to convey both the timelessness and modernity of the brand. For the product packaging, we chose materials and designs that spoke to an audience accustomed to luxury, ensuring every touchpoint was an experience in itself – from the tactile feel of the packaging to the visual delight of unboxing.

Crafting the ecommerce site required a delicate balance between functionality and aesthetics. It was imperative that the site not only showcased KS&CO's products and services but also provided an effortless, seamless shopping experience for all customers. We implemented a clean, intuitive design, enriched with high-quality imagery and detailed product descriptions. Interactive elements were introduced to guide users through personalized beauty consultations, mirroring the bespoke service offered in-person. The ecommerce platform was built on the Shopify platform, allowing the KS&CO team to easily manage inventory and scale new products.

Collaboration with the Kristie and team was key throughout this process, involving them in each step to ensure the brand's new identity and digital presence authentically represented their vision and values. This partnership allowed us to refine our design system to perfection, ensuring every element resonated with their target audience.

The culmination of our efforts was a brand identity system, product packaging, and ecommerce site that not only elevated KS&CO's online presence but also reinforced their status as a beacon of luxury and expert craftsmanship in eyebrow care and beauty. This project stands as a testament to the power of combining strategic insight with design crat to develop a brand experience that captivates and engages a high-end market, setting new benchmarks in the world of style and luxury.

The launch of the new brand and site resulted in a 600% increase average order price and increased the returning customer rate by nearly 250%.
